Effective July 4th, 2024 Louisiana became the 28th state to allow constitutional carry.
Constitutional carry, or permitless carry is generally defined as carrying a firearm either openly or concealed without the need to first acquire a permit to do so.
However, there are certain legal restrictions the general public must be made aware of before exercising their right to carry, and it is the responsibility of the citizen to be educated on the law before doing so.
This is a 4 hour class covering the constitutional carry law in Louisiana, how it applies to you as the armed citizen as well as a block of instruction on justified use of deadly force and self defense law in the event you have to use your firearm.
